Site Studies on the Resettlement of Keyenberg, Kuckum, Berverath, Ober- and Unterwestrich

To implement a resettlement of the city districts Keyenberg, Kuckum, Berverath, and Ober- and Unterwestrich planned for 2017. it is necessary to create and form a basis for making decisions for location identification with regards to the following preparatory and binding urban land-use planning. The former locations named above must be analyzed with different criteria and a rough profile of the locations must be illustrated in a briefing.

Furthermore, the city districts must be reviewed to see which are suitable to be accepted as resettlement locations. A total of nine predetermined search areas must be reviewed for their suitability to accept the five resettlement locations. Each respective location must be reviewed with regards to their pattern of use, infrastructural environment, and transportation connections. The goal is to create both positive synergy effects between the old locations and the resettlement locations as well as possible negative effects.
