The Partnership of Solidarity between the city of Aachen and the Ukrainian city of Chernihiv has been in place since 2023. As a sign of this new bond, it is planned to redesign a public square in Chernihiv by students of RWTH Aachen University. The square is to symbolize the cooperation between the two cities. It is also possible to rename the square.
Within the impromptu spatial visions will be developed.
