Winter Semester 2021/22

Duration: one semester

With the Winter School under the theme "the identity-creating region", the Bauhaus University Weimar invites students and teachers from the participating universities to engage openly and critically with questions of local identities. The focus will be on structural and spatial conditions, but also on the respective narratives and modes of cultural appropriation. How these can be incorporated into conceptions of spatial development will be explored. The Winter School addresses professors and lecturers as well as students who would like to deal directly or indirectly with the topic of spatial identities in the winter semester 2021/2022. (Bauhaus University Weimar 2021).

During the associated course, spatial pioneers will be thematized and placed in the context of the Rhenish Revier.
