Master thesis awarded with architecture and urban planning student prize!
We are proud to announce that Lena Piepmeyer and Natascha Lohner have won this year's BDB Student Awards 2017 in the category of urban planning.
Their truly excellent master thesis under the title 'Quarter Development around a Sporting Arena, Capetown – Apartheid vs. Openheid' is a valuable contribution to the discussion of political urbanism.
The thesis was overseen by Prof. Rolf Westerheide and Prof. Kunibert Wachten at the Department for Urban and Regional Planning.
