We congratulate Christain Hölscher on the wa Promotion Award 2023

We congratulate Christan Hölscher on his successful master thesis at the wa Promotion Award. The award was given for his master thesis: "Regionale 2025, Transformation of the Zanders Areal in Bergisch Gladbach".

The urban design Regionale 2025, Transformation of the Zanders Areal in Bergisch Gladbach is a conversion project. Through the insolvency of the Zanders company and the subsequent purchase by the city, 37 hectares in a central location were gained for a development of the city center. The Zanders paper factory has a history of almost 200 years. The city of Bergisch Gladbach was strongly influenced by the paper industry and especially by the Zanders paper mill.
