Accompanying Research on the Wireless Charging of Electric Vehicles
Accompanying Research on the Wireless Charging of Electric Vehicles
As part of the project "Accompanying Research on the Wireless Charging of Electric Vehicles" commissioned by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, the Institute investigated the impacts of the necessary charging infrastructure in public space on urban development.
The focus was on investigating in how far visual (cityscape, monument conservation, cleanliness) and functional restrictions (safety, accessibility, openness/versatility of use) provide arguments against setting up a charging infrastructure.
The project was conducted in collaboration with the Institut für Automation und Kommunikation Madgeburg, the Institute of Ergonomics, Manufacturing Systems and Automation at Magdeburg University (IAF), and the agency Kiefer Media, Offenburg.
The results will be qualitatively and quantitatively represented in a model.
