Main Fields of Research and Education

• Teaching in the field of methods of urban development design and design supervision in the master's courses in architecture and urban planning, supervision and support of bachelor's and master's theses, supervision of dissertation projects
• Project management and processing of various research and practical tasks with the following focal points:
• Planning and construction in developing countries (DR Congo, Afghanistan), village renewal, planning and construction in rural areas, resettlement in the Rhenish lignite mining area, design and development of new development areas, preparation of development plans and outline plans, participation and chairing of award juries and international competitions, moderation and management of various planning and future workshops and design workshops, implementation of city marketing concepts and initiation of city networks
